Duties include but not limited to: General cleaning of businesses contracted with CFMC Cleaning, (Trash collection, Vacuuming, Bathrooms, Dusting, Sweeping and mopping of floors ect.) use of buffer machine may be required at some sights.
Hours: Different schedules are available 3-6 days per week (mostly evening weekdays after 5p.m. and some weekends) Starting Pay: $9.00 and up per hr depending on experience and evaluation. Must be: Must have drivers license with with clean record, be able to lift 75 lbs., be self motivated and organized with no drug or violent criminal history. Applicant must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation and pass background check / drug test.

General Summary: The assistant manager is responsible for assisting the general manager with day to day duties as well as the supervision of Leads, Staff, inventory, daily checks, Quality control and Customer relations.
Monitors performance of staff working.
Ensures staff is following work schedules and balances workloads.
Ensure all background, drug and other pre-employment checks are completed.
Complete identification badge requests for all new employees.
Resolves coverage issues.
Responsible for staying within budget for each contract.
Communicates with customer on a daily basis and responds to customer requests in a timely manner.
Responsible for supply inventory, and maintenance of equipment
Oversee and help with cleaning and maintenance of CFMC shop and equipment.
Trains employees assigned to designated areas on cleaning techniques, processes, client needs and safety issues as well as customer service skills to help patrons and customers.
Ensures cleanliness of accounts inside and/or out.
Conducts employee meetings.
Responsible for conducting on-site inspections, and documenting inspection results.
Responds to employee and customer concerns.
Ensures staff is working in a safe environment, using safe techniques and proper protective equipment, and following company safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to read, understand, and give directions to cleaning staff.
Responsible for equipment cleanliness and ensures repair of damaged equipment.
Supervises lead and temporary staff (i.e. coaching, mentoring, assigning work, disciplinary actions, pay increase recommendations, termination of employment recommendations, and leave request approvals).
Complies with company scheduled hours and works in excess of normal working hours as workloads are encountered.
Complies with company and safety policies and procedures.
Covers employee shifts when absent if needed.
Investigates reports employee accidents and incidents.
Attends required company meetings and training sessions.
High school graduate or GED
3-7 years Custodial experience
5-8 years Managerial/Supervisory experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work with spreadsheets.
Skill in operating a computer, calculator and various maintenance equipment.
Leadership skills. Ability to lead staff in multiple locations and determine if employee is capable of fulfilling their duties.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate and interact well with all staff levels and customer.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and ability to train staff in these techniques.
Ability to be on-call 24/7 when needed. May be required to work other schedules to cover vacancies, vacations and absences in 24 hour facilities.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedures.
Ability to lift 50-65 pounds.
Ability to maintain and make minor repairs to equipment.
